“Mr. Himebook has the same magnificent voice (it literally soars beyond the barricades)… I found that, even without those powerhouse songs, the actor himself could have delivered an eloquent, masterful performance.”

NICELY NICELY, ‘Guys & Dolls’

Theatre Memphis, 2022

“full of top-notch singers, but none better than supporting actors Kent Fleshman as Benny Southstreet and Phillip Andrew Himebook as Nicely Nicely - Nathan Detroit's gambling sidekicks. They perfectly set the mood for the entire show with their opening song, "Fugue for Tinhorns," then nail the iconic signature song in the middle, "Guys and Dolls" and ultimately Himebook stops the show with his 11th hour number "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat." I don't know what note Himebook hits at the end of this song, but it almost blows the roof off the building. Outstanding!”
